Farley is the quintessential idea incubator with an entrepreneurial spirit.  She grew up on the Gulf Coast of Florida as an only child. Farley was a tomboy who played 3 sports in high school and went on to play D1 volleyball in college. While getting her degree in broadcast communications she interned for CBS WJXT Channel 4 in Jacksonville. She was approached to model upon graduation so she decided to give that a try and moved to Miami, Chicago and finally New York to pursue what became a 15 year career.  She has a creative mind that turns her passion and identification of a void in a market place into an immediate remedy.  Farley became the founding director of C.H.A.S.E. for Life, a non profit with a mission of educating anyone with a hand on a child in the life saving measures needed to sustain a life until help arrived. She enlisted the help of fashion, rock & animation to help demystify CPR & the Heimlich Maneuver. CPR Heimlich Awareness Safety Education became an acronym in honor of her daughter CHASE who survived a near drowning the day Farley came home from the hospital from giving birth to her 3rd child. She raised over a million dollars for her life saving cause to Pay it Forward!  With a keen eye born from her modeling days, Farley went on to identify a void in the tween bathing suit category and used her connections and skill sets to create Squirtini Bikini, her second start up, working with all facets of design, sourcing, manufacturing, distribution and sales.  Farley’s true passion is being the CEO of her family and the Team Captain & Manager of her three D1 lacrosse playing daughters. She brings her creativity, passion and insights to Girls Gone Gritty and is excited to share the ups and downs of start ups, the modeling world and the non profit sector where she’ll get down to the Nitty Gritty!

Darian Boyle is currently the President of Marina Management in Jersey City, New Jersey. She recently sold Typhoon Boat Works, where she was the CEO and COO of this Sportfishing boat manufacturer. She has always, both personally and professionally, been involved in either water/marine activities or snow pursuits.

Darian is a decorated World Champion skier and has been recognized as one of the top female athletes in the world with a specialty in big mountain riding and Skiercross. In 2000, she won the World Extreme Sports Awards for best female freeskier. Darian dominated in Skiercross and was crowned World Skiercross Champion in 1999; at the 1999 X Games she placed 2nd for Skiercross; 1998 US Open Skiercross Champion; in 1993 she placed 2nd overall on the World Pro Mogul Tour.

Darian routinely appeared in extreme skiing movies, sports programs, commercials and print advertisements, representing a wide range of sponsors for various sports. In 2003, a broken neck in 6 places in Squaw Valley, California ultimately slowed her down a little, but could not stop her. Darian’s skills go far beyond the slopes.

In 2008, she was introduced to Stand up Paddling and never looked back. Her first SUP event was the Sea Paddle NYC- a 28 Mile paddle around NYC to raise money for Autism and the environment. Shortly after that event, she was asked to become a board member. A few more SUP highlights include: 2015 Sea Paddle NYC 3rd place Elite Race, 2011 2nd place Sea Paddle NYC Elite division; 2009 2nd place at the Battle of the Paddle in the relay and 5th place in the battle; 1st place in the Florida State SUP Championships.  Darian is a World Paddle Association -WPA- Level 2 instructor.

When the seasons change, she is off paddleboarding, surfing and playing tennis. She was a Lifeguard National Champion and an avid member of the National Lifeguard-Ocean Rescue Team. Darian’s years as a professional athlete opened the door to her television career. She has experience ranging from live reporting from the field to studio anchoring to hosting post produced magazine shows. Her work has appeared on ESPN, ESPN2, ABC Sports, Fox Sports Net and Outdoor Life Network. These programs allowed her to showcase her athletic knowledge of sports. Her passions for sports are reflected in her attitude.

Darian’s philanthropic efforts have focused on adaptive athletes as they recover/rehabilitate via surfing and skiing. She is continually active in Operation Beachhead, a non-profit organization that utilizes surfing as therapy and provides adventurous all- season sports for veterans and active-duty troops with disabilities as well as people with special needs. She also remains very involved in The High Fives Foundation, which is an adaptive sports non-profit that supports athletes and helps them get back to their outdoor physical activity of choice. Darian is an active Board member of Surfers Environmental Alliance (SEA) which is committed to the preservation and protection of the environmental and cultural elements inherent to the sport of surfing. For 12 years, SEA put on the Sea paddle NYC which is a 28-mile paddle around NYC raising money for various Autistic groups and the environment. Darian was instrumental in helping the event become a success.

Darian is a proud member of Sugarbush Vermont’s Wall of Fame and is a recipient of the Bruce Boyle Waterman Award.

Darian splits her time seasonally between Sea Girt, NJ and Warren, Vermont with her husband and her 8-Year-old daughter Darian Mary aka DeeDee.
